As the Founder and CEO of Autharva, Inc., I pledge to revisit the following values every year to refine them based on our learnings and the growing dynamics of business. Below is the first version of our top ten core values

Customer-first mindset

Focusing on the needs and interests of customers and striving to provide the best possible experience. We survive because of our customers. Provide every customer, big or small, with the highest quality of service. The most important aspect of great customer service is to listen! Let the customer narrate their pain points fully before jumping on a solution. Sometimes just listening could help establish our value as a caring partner for them. We may get their business because they are currently dealing with a high-priority problem and were unable to fix it internally! We go in not only to provide them with a great product and a working solution but also to bring them along with us on an amazing journey toward their professional salvation. No business could survive without customers. This is our number one, most important core value that every member of the team Autharva shall possess

Collaboration

Working together and inclusively with others towards common goals and valuing diverse perspectives and contributions while dismissing bias and prejudice. Regardless of our origin, language, age, gender, views, choices, etc., we are all the same, with a razor-sharp focus on building an ecosystem for Autharva and its customers. We collaborate, support each other, work with each other, learn from each other, and, most importantly, complete each other. If someone joins our team, they are one of us. It becomes our mission to bring everyone along. We don’t compete with each other; we compete against ourselves. We grow ourselves by learning from them; we provide a platform for others to grow sustainably; We Collaborate!

Proactivity

Anticipating and addressing challenges and opportunities and taking initiative to achieve positive outcomes We don’t wait for the customer to share their feedback; we proactively work with the customer to gather their views and avoid mistakes before things get out of hand. Fixing many small gaps is relatively easier than dealing with a major issue in firefighting mode. We proactively learn from our surroundings and consistently work on improving the Autharva ecosystem

Kindness

Treating others with compassion, empathy, and generosity and promoting positive interactions and relationships. Strong emotional awareness defines us as humans, and kindness towards mankind is an extremely beautiful emotion. I have personally observed that being kind to others has helped me attain a few moments of bliss. As companies grow, people tend to pick favorites, develop biases, and get involved in unnecessary office politics. That severely affects the company’s growth and its brand value. Unhappy employees could translate into unhappy customers in no time. It is not okay to spread toxicity in Autharva! Such individuals will be immediately requested to leave Autharva’s ecosystem, regardless of their title, impact on the business, or performance. The person sitting next to you is working toward the same goal as you are. We all strive to be a company of good people, working on an amazing vision to serve our great customers! Be kind to each other. Don’t let differences of opinion develop into dislike. It’s okay to disagree respectfully, but it’s not okay to develop bias in Autharva! Let us make sure that everyone, even outside Autharva, has a secret desire to work for Autharva at some point in time

Mastery

Striving for excellence and continuous improvement and pursuing expertise and skill in one’s area of focus It is extremely important to outshine ourselves all the time. Do something better than what we did last time. Focus on an area and be a master of it. We will have team leads, not managers. Everyone is an individual contributor in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, playing their roles diligently to bring this act together in the most collaborative fashion. Hence, it becomes extremely crucial for everyone to be a master at what they do. Focus on the customer’s interest and deliver it with the best intent. People who do not learn from history become history. It’s okay to make mistakes, but it’s not okay to repeat the same mistakes over and over again. It’s even worse not to share our learnings with others to save them from making the same mistake. We are students for life.

Trustworthiness

Building and maintaining trust through honesty, reliability, and ethical behavior We are not a family! We are a team! This is an honest and practical realization. We do not expect anything from our family in return for our services. In business, on the other hand, everyone has some expectations from everyone else. Those expectations are easy to achieve if they are set correctly to begin with. Setting up correct expectations with complete transparency, ethics, honesty, and reliability will encourage trust amongst each other and ultimately translate to our customers. We shall always make commitments that are only backed up by data and stay true to our commitments. Selling is an art, and maintaining a loyal relationship with a customer is magic! This magic will only happen when we successfully establish a trustworthy relationship with our customers. We will only succeed in doing so if we have trust in each other’s ability to deliver on time. So let us do our best to make sure that we establish trust with each other

Frugality

Using resources efficiently, avoiding waste, and promoting responsible and sustainable practices We are surviving on our customer’s hard-earned resources. Money saved is money made. To be successful in a B2B trade, it is important to generate the biggest bang for the buck. We aim to provide excellent products and services at a reasonable price to our customers while generating a steady flow of income for all of us. Optimization is another form of scaling. A frugal approach results in optimized solutions. Frugality enables relatively faster scaling

Resilience

Adapting to change and overcoming obstacles with flexibility, perseverance, and determination Everything is changing all the time. Every change is a new opportunity to be better, stronger, faster, and more efficient. We at Autharva embrace change rather than fighting against it. For us, resilience doesn’t mean resistance to change; rather, it means being ready, agile, and flexible. We are resilient, with an open heart and an open mind. We believe that nothing is impossible. We focus on what can be controlled rather than worrying about what can’t be controlled. Resilience leads to inner peace!

Creativity

Generating new ideas and approaches and embracing experimentation and innovation Necessity is the mother of all inventions. It is so important to read between the lines to understand the difference between a need and an ask. It is important to ask relevant questions, to do our homework, and to listen carefully to the customer’s voice. We have to be good listeners if we want to innovate. Innovation without demand is useless. Find a real problem to solve. Before jumping into development, the best metric to determine if we are innovating in the right direction is to ask our customers directly, “Would this aid your business positively?” There is no secret to innovation: Observe, Find, Learn, and Grow.

Authenticity

Being true to oneself and others and valuing the diversity of perspectives and experiences that make each person unique We at Autharva will never judge people on the choices they make in life or on the attributes they are born with. Don’t change yourself; just learn and grow for good. You were hired because you were already a cultural fit. Don’t force yourself to fit in! We like you already, as-is.
